Student Services: Texas State offers many services that cater to the specific needs of our students. Most services are free (fees were included in tuition) however, some are not. Please check with service of choice to verify fee.
Student Support Services: Eligible students (first-generation, low income and students with disabilities) are provided student development and educational support services in order to increase the retention and graduation rates.
Veterans Affairs: Assists veterans in pursuing their educational, professional, or vocational objectives. Their office is available to answer questions concerning veteran educational benefits, certify enrollments for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and monitor student's degree plans and academic progress.
Career Services: Provides compassionate, comprehensive career assistance to the diverse Texas State family. Their services incorporate leading practices to guide students through all stages of their career development and progession.
Multicultural Student Affairs: Provides academic, cultural, and personal support for underrepresented students for purpose of degree completion and leadership in a culturally diverse and global society. Scholarship and employment assistance opportunities may also be available through this office.

IT Assistance Center (ITAC): In need of computer repair or a new computer? Problems accessing Bobcat Mail or TRACs? ITAC can help as your one-stop-shop for technology-related needs.
Office of Disability Services (ODS): Strives to become a model program serving students with disabilities in higher education and committed to developing a society in which individuals with disabilities thrive and participate fully.
Student Success: Educates and ensures the success of a diverse student population by creating and fostering a safe, welcoming, and comprehensive community. They commit to excellence in the development and delivery of high quality programs and services to prepare responsible and contributing members for a global community.
Writing Center: Trained tutors provide individual counseling to students to develop long-term writing skills and productive, ethical writing habits. They also provide access to handouts and an interactive on-line grammer/spelling/punctuation exam.
SLAC (Student Learning Assistance Center) Lab: Supplements instruction and provides services that support students in the development of skills necessarty for their effective performance in and positive adjustment to the university learning environment. Individual, group and online tutoring services are available.
