Student Volunteer Connection — SVC — is a chartered student organization geared toward connecting students with volunteer opportunities throughout the San Marcos area. SVC is a great resource for Bobcats to get involved and make a positive impact within our community.


This month SVC is focusing on education and collecting goods benefiting those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

Below are items SVC will be collecting throughout the month of September. To donate, please bring by the office in LBJSC 4-7.3. Additional drop of locations will be available soon.

Cases of water Medium Large Wire Dog Crates
Hand Sanitizers Sheets (can be used)
Sunscreen Bath & Beach Towels (can be used)
Hairnets Aluminum Food Bowls
Food handling Gloves Styrofoam Bowls
Individually wrapped snack packs Dog & Cat Food (meat as 1st ingredient)
Adult blankets (must be new with tags) Wet Canned Cat Food
Towels (must be new with tags) Litter (clumping and non-clumping)
  Aluminum Baking Pans for litter boxes
  Cleaning Supplies
  Leashes (all size- flat)
  Martingale Colors (all size)
