Sarah Swatzell, President
I am a senior perusing a major in Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies. I transferred from the University of Guam in 2014. Coming from a student/faculty count of 2,000 to a nearly 40,000 people in just students alone was terrifyingly overwhelming. However, after two years as a Bobcat and one of those years spent as a member of NTSO I feel like I have settled in nicely.
As the new president for the 2016-2017 school year, my goal is to bring more awareness to our organization and to get our members more involved in the university community. I’m looking forward to a new and exciting year as a Bobcat and with my fellow NTSO members!
Bethany Wilson, Program Coordinator
I am originally from West Virginia, but have been in Texas for 7 years. After attending community colleges in Michigan and the Houston area, I have finally made it to Texas State and am very happy to be here! I have been in and out of school due to not knowing what I wanted to study and trying to discover my passion. I am a Criminal Justice major and once I finish my bachelor’s degree I plan to get my graduate degree in Psychology. I am excited to be a part of NTSO to meet all types of people who have not taken the “traditional” path in college. This organization is such a great way to connect with others and be a part of the university..…Eat ‘em up Cats!
