Adam Unswroth: Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra Principal Horn also serves as Professor of Horn at the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre and Dance. Prior to his appointment at the University of Michigan, Adam was Fourth Horn of The Philadelphia Orchestra (1998-2007) and Second Horn of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (1995-1998). He has mostly recently performed as a guest musician with the San Francisco Symphony and Detroit Symphony.

Saxophonist Nathan Nabb maintains an active and multifaceted concert schedule with regular performances in solo, chamber and orchestral settings, including numerous international engagements at music festivals and conservatories throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. He holds teaching positions at Stephen F. Austin State University, where he is Professor of Saxophone, and at the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, where he is Guest Master Teacher of Saxophone.

Reiner Kramer is a teacher, music theorist, composer, programmer, or in short, a music algorist. He earned a Ph.D. in Music Theory with a related field in Computer Music at the University of North Texas (UNT). His research interests include computational music analysis, computer music, popular music, counterpoint, and compositional theory. Reiner works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at McGill University in Montréal, Canada, where he leads an interdisciplinary team of doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate students. Reiner is a member of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT), and teaches an online course of Rock Music History at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Kavindu “Kavi” Ade is a writer, activist, arts educator, and nationally recognized spoken word poet from Philadelphia, PA. Kavi received a B.A in Social Justice with a concentration on Art for Social Change & Gender Justice from Hamline University. While best known for their gender identity poem titled “IT”, Kavi’s work most often bridges the realms of personal and political identity - navigating what it means to be Black, Transgender, Queer, and first generation American all at once. Their poetry shines a light on race, gender, sexuality, street harassment, sexual assault, trans & queer phobia, love, relationships, and more. ​Through their poetry the world unfolds itself in to moments of cruelty, rage, and grief, but also beauty, wonder, and becoming.
