Texas State continues its long tradition of participating in this nationally known recognition program. “The Who’s Who program was designed in 1934 by founder H. Pettus Randall II to ensure academic achievement was recognized regardless of a student’s financial ability to participate.” The Who’s Who program has been successful for the past seven decades in honoring outstanding campus leaders annually for their “scholastic and community achievements.”
Although the national program only highlights upperclassmen and graduate students from around the country, Texas State is initiating a new program for our freshmen and sophomore students through the same application process. The application will be online beginning February 4, 2008, and students will have till February 22, 2008 to complete. A campus wide email will go out to all faculty, staff, and students asking for individual nominations. After a student is nominated, an automatic email will go to that individual informing them of their nomination which will include a link to the online application. On behalf of the Office of Campus Activities and Student Organizations, we hope that you will recognize one of Texas State’s outstanding students!
