Hosted by the Student Learning Assistance Center.  Awards banquet honoring SLAC student employees.

 

Awards Day and BGS Induction Ceremony

April 13 at 1 p.m. in McCoy Hall 119

Hosted by the McCoy College of Business Administration.  Scholarship awards, outstanding student awards and induction into the BGS Honorary Society.

 

College of Liberal Arts Awards Ceremony

April 24, 6 p.m. in Centennial Hall Teaching Theatre

Hosted by the College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Office.  The Liberal Arts Awards Ceremony is help annually in recognition of outstanding academic achievement of Liberal Arts majors.

 

Mitte Honors Program Awards Reception

April 25, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Alkek Teaching Theater

Hosted by the Mitte Honors program.   A reception to recognize our 2007-08 graduating seniors, outstanding upperclassmen and faculty in the Mitte Honors Program.

 

14th Annual Geography Alumni Reunion and Student Celebration

April 26, Noon until 10 p.m. in the Alkek Teaching Theatre and Wacker Complex at Bobcat Stadium

Hosted by the Department of Geography.  This is our premier event in which we honor our alumni, current students, campus community and San Marcos community leadership.  We have a BQ to encourage networking after the award ceremonies.

 

Employee Appreciation Banquet

April 28, 7 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom

The Department of Campus Recreation is hosting the semi-formal awards recognition dinner and program.  Awards will be given to Student Employee of the Year from each program area and Academic Success recipients will be recognized.  One staff and one faculty will be recognized for contributions to the department.

 

Graduate Forum

May 1, 5:30 to 9 p.m. in the Pedernales Building, Room 114

Hosted by Occupational Education.  This event allows the graduate students in the MSIS degree to present their research to OCED faculty and other graduate students in the program.  In addition, the scholarships for the semester will be awarded that event to undergraduates and graduate students.  This is an annual event that honors students and promotes academic excellence.
