General Route Information:
This system is supported by students, who pay a bus fee at registration each semester; faculty and staff who purchase parking permits also contribute a small portion of their annual parking fee to operate the system. Service is operated on class days and during finals; with reduced service available on Saturdays. No service is offered on Sundays, non-class days or official university holidays.
If you ever have an issue with the performance of any of our route service, please call dispatch to report your concern. It is always helpful to have the three digit bus number, (Printed on all sides of the bus exterior); the bus route number or name; and the time of day when you were riding. This basic information will help us address your concern in a prompt efficient manner.
Always plan to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
BT Interurban Service between Austin, Kyle, San Marcos, New Braunfels and San Antonio is offered to Students, Faculty, Staff, and the General Public at an additional cost. This service is supported primarily by farebox revenue from those using the service. Limited service, (between San Marcos and Southpark Meadows in south Austin), is available on Saturdays.
This service is operated on most weekdays, (252 days a year) with service along the IH 35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio with service connections to Capital Metro bus and rail in Austin and VIA bus service in San Antonio.
All buses are air-conditioned and meet Federal ADA requirements. Students needing special accommodations should contact Auxiliary Services prior to the beginning of the each semester. Route and schedule information is available at:
